Are You Ready to RecruitNY?

Are you Ready to RecruitNY?
Below is information on FASNY’s 2012 VolunteerNYstatewide recruitment program and the wealth of resources they’ve created for you.

We’re planning local marketing support efforts to leverage this statewide program but we need to know if your Erie County volunteer fire department will be taking advantage of this opportunity.

We can help you customize the VolunteerNY marketing materials or assist you in creating your own recruitment program, similar to how we helped Doyle 1 and Reserve Hose Companies last year

If your Erie County volunteer fire department is planning any recruitment activities for the weekend of April 21-22, the month of April-2012 or any other time during the year, let us know by dropping us a line with details and contact info for the person coordinating your efforts. (If you’re not in Erie County – contact FASNY directly).

And be sure to let us know if your information needs updating at:

Here’s to a successful RecruitNY effort! Let us know how we can be of assistance.

This April 21 and 22, in conjunction with National Volunteer Week 2012, the Firemen’s Association of the State of New York (FASNY) encourages your department to hold a recruitment-based open house to introduce members of your community to the volunteer fire service.

The New York State volunteer fire service needs your help to reverse the recent decline in volunteers. This is your opportunity to recruit more members and educate the public on what it means to volunteer.
